Accelerating Inclusion: Who Can Enjoy Our Track Day Events?
One of the most frequently asked questions that we get here at Speed of Sight is, who are our track day events for? To put it simply, they are for everyone! Our mission here at Speed of Sight is to empower individuals of all ages and abilities. Speed of Sight is dedicated to the promotion of opportunity for children and adults, no matter their circumstances. Today we are going to share all the different kinds of people who are welcome to our track day events. Everybody deserves a motorsport track day experience, and our track day events provide just that.
One of the biggest misconceptions about Speed of Sight is that our track day events are only for individuals with visual impairments. While it is true that individuals with visual impairments are absolutely accepted at our track day events, we cater to so much more! This misconception probably comes from the fact that the founder of Speed of Sight, Mike Newman, is blind himself. However, our track day events are for anyone, no matter their skill of driving!
We change lives for differently abled people. Our track day events give these individuals a chance, just for a short while, to forget they have a disability. Here are some disabilities that are more than welcome to our track days:
- Epilepsy
- Down Syndrome
- Visual Impairments
- Cerebral Palsy
- Angelman Syndrome
- Muscular Dystrophy
- Spastic Paraplegic
- Spina Bifida
And so much more!
Be sure to bring family and friends to the track day event as everybody is welcome. Everybody deserves the same opportunities in life, that is why we do what we do. After we see the gleaming smiles of all those who have taken part in our track day events, it makes everything that we do here at Speed of Sight worth it. So, what are you waiting for? Come join us today!
