Amazing day at St Bernards RC Primary School Bolton
We had an amazing day at St Bernard’s RC Primary School, Bolton! Huge applause to Jo Watson for igniting the spark of celebration in honor of Mrs. Doodson’s 20 years of dedicated service as head teacher. Jo's brilliant idea of bringing a driving experience to the school, courtesy of a mini buggy generously donated by Cash for Kids Greater Manchester, turned into a day filled with joy, laughter, and unforgettable memories. With the support of Lyndsey Smith and an incredible team, they set up a fundraising campaign to give Mrs. Doodson a retirement experience she'll never forget. The energy on the day of the event was simply electric, with children, teachers and volunteers all coming together to share in the excitement. It was heartwarming to see everyone join in and make the day truly brilliant. But the magic didn’t stop there! Together, we raised over £2200 for our charity, thanks to the generosity of donors, supporters, and the tireless efforts of Jo Watson, Steven Watson, Jess Rigby, and our amazing volunteers, including Allan Farrimond Ralph Brown, Paula Brown, and Mike Boss, whose drone footage captured the day's highlights perfectly. This day serves as a shining example of the power of community and what can be achieved when we unite for a common purpose. Thank you to everyone involved for making a real difference and creating lasting memories.
