A proud Yorkshire man.

Left school age 15 deemed to be a failure, then 10 years later found myself at Leeds University studying industrial and public relations.

I’ve worked for 29 years in the coal mining industry, an electrician 15 years , a computerised systems engineer 4 years and mine safety officer 10 years. Running parallel to my work commitments I spent time as a retained fireman, mines rescue worker and school governor.

I became a driving instructor some years ago and joined the Speed Of Sight team in 2017 to help make the impossible possible.
