Tina Cassady

Hi, my name is Tina and I started Fabdriving in 2012. I’m based in Ilkeston on the border of Derby and Nottingham and cover the surrounding areas.

I have both a manual and an all-electric automatic car and specialise in pupils that have anxiety and worries about driving. I love helping them get over their fear to be able to drive, knowing how much freedom it can give. I am involved in our local driving instructor association as well the ADINJC, a national instructor association, in which I hold the post of charities liaison officer.

I first met Mike and John at a driving instructor conference shortly after starting Fabdriving, and knew that this was a charity I wanted to support. Since then, I have been lucky enough to work alongside them for a number of years raising funds with the ADINJC and as a driver at their events.

Volunteering for Speed Of Sight is extremely rewarding, it’s not just being part of a team but being a part of a family - making the impossible, possible for everyone, no matter what their disability.
